What you'll do:
  • Design and implement next-generation Systems that effectively prevent unauthorised access and attacks on networked industrial control system assets.
  • Develop advanced firewall solutions with a focus on enhanced security features, user-friendly interfaces for operational technology managers, and seamless integration into existing infrastructures.
  • Research and implement protocol dissectors specific to operational technology environments to provide comprehensive visibility into network communications and improve overall security posture.
  • Create active query mechanisms that accurately retrieve and catalogue asset information, supporting efficient network management and proactive threat detection across diverse environments.
  • Collaborate closely with experts in cybersecurity, network engineering, and software development to deliver innovative solutions that address the unique challenges.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in cybersecurity threats and best practices, continuously enhancing firewall technologies to counter emerging risks effectively.
  • Engage with stakeholders across various departments to understand their specific security requirements, ensuring that delivered solutions meet or exceed expectations while upholding system integrity.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing processes, and documentation efforts to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and maintainability throughout all stages of product development.
What you bring:
  • Bachelor of Engineer field with over 7 years of software engineering experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of core networking protocols such as IP, TCP, HTTP, enabling effective analysis and enhancement of communication flows within industrial networks.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux user space as well as kernel-level programming tasks relevant to secure software development.
  • Proactive approach combined with self-motivation and an ability to work dependably within cooperative teams dedicated to shared goals.
  • Experince in firware development
