We are now expanding our Asia-Pacific presence and seeking a Partner Sales Lead / Business Development Manager to build and grow Exein's commercial ecosystem across Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia.
Role Overview
The Partner Sales Lead in Asia Pacific will own the regional partnership and channel strategy, driving growth through OEM alliances, chipset partners (e.g., MediaTek, NXP, Qualcomm), and regional system integrators.
You will report to the Head of Sales, APAC, and serve as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering — establishing a high-impact partner ecosystem that accelerates Exein's embedded security adoption across diverse verticals.
This role blends strategic alliance development, partner enablement, and co- selling execution, modeled on global best practices in partnership leadership exemplified by top alliance leaders in the IoT and cloud sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Regional Partner Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute Exein's Asia-Pacific partnership and channel growth strategy, focused on OEMs, semiconductor vendors, ODMs, and embedded software integrators.
- Lead commercial engagement with regional hyperscalers and chipset ecosystems, leveraging integrations such as Exein's MediaTek Genio and Yocto Project partnerships
- Identify, onboard, and manage key distribution and technology partners to expand Exein's footprint across target industries (automotive, industrial IoT, telecom, and consumer electronics).
- Own joint business planning, target setting, and execution cadence with strategic partners.
2. Partner Enablement & Co-Selling
- Work closely with the Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system team to establish and manage partner training, certification, and readiness programs.
- Enable partner-led demand generation campaigns in coordination with HubSpot Marketing Automation, ensuring alignment with global GTM objectives.
- Drive joint account planning and co-selling motions with partners — integrating Exein's embedded solutions into their offerings and customer engagements.
- Support the development of partner playbooks, demo kits, and joint case studies that showcase Exein's embedded security and runtime defense solutions.

Channel Operations & Forecasting
- Collaborate with the Sales Operations and Finance teams to ensure pipeline accuracy, forecasting, and revenue recognition for partner-led deals.
- Use Salesforce (SDFC) for partner pipeline tracking, account management, and co-sell reporting.
- Ensure deal registration compliance and accurate partner attribution in CRM and ERP systems.

Ecosystem Expansion & Strategic Alliances
- Build deep relationships with chipset and cloud platform providers across Asia (e.g., MediaTek, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure IoT).
- Negotiate alliance agreements, co-marketing funds, and joint solution development initiatives.
- Represent Exein at regional trade shows, partner summits, and industry events — promoting thought leadership around embedded security and compliance readiness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the CTO to align technical integration roadmaps with partner requirements.
- Partner with the Head of Product and Marketing to align messaging, market positioning, and product readiness for each region.
- Coordinate with Finance and Sales Operations to ensure partner contracts, incentives, and payments follow Exein's global commercial governance standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in B2B technology sales, alliances, or business development, ideally within embedded systems, semiconductors, cybersecurity, or IoT ecosystems.
- Proven success managing partnerships with OEMs, ODMs, chipset vendors, or cloud service providers.
- Strong understanding of channel and partner go-to-market models, including deal registration, enablement, and revenue forecasting.
- Experience with Salesforce (SDFC), HubSpot, and PRM systems for partner management and pipeline reporting.
- Excellent relationship-building and cross-cultural communication skills — fluency in English and Mandarin required; Japanese or Korean is a plus.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple stakeholder groups across regions.
- Knowledge of IoT security standards, firmware development, or compliance frameworks (CRA, U.S. Cyber Trust Mark, IEC 62443, etc.) is advantageous.
Preferred Experience
- Background in global alliance management or OEM/channel leadership for technology vendors (e.g., semiconductor, cloud, or cybersecurity firms).
- Experience launching joint solutions or reference architectures with hyperscalers or chipset partners.
- Familiarity with embedded software ecosystems (Yocto, Zephyr, Linux, Android) and edge AI / eBPF-based technologies
- Track record of exceeding pipeline and revenue targets through partner-led business models.
