In this role, you will be responsible for managing stakeholders in Taiwan, the Business Application team in Taiwan and engaging with colleagues and functions in the relevant space locally/regionally and globally.

What you will do

• Strong and experienced people/team management of sizeable team covering BAU and change of Taiwan business applications (across core business value chain including Investments, Operations and Distribution systems).
• Demonstrated strong and effective engagement with Taiwan key stakeholders and senior management, Global/Regional stakeholders, effective vendor management including with key strategic vendors.
• Matrix report to Taiwan COO / Head of IT Taiwan, directly report to Head of Technology & Operations Change & Solutions AP
• Proficiency in meeting Taiwan regulatory requirements while coordinating local and global/ regional goals
• Demonstrated ability in people management skills in managing team of permanent FTE and vendor resources onsite.  Effective resource planning adapted to business needs
• As Taiwan a team lead, proven leadership in managing a team of application owners; maintaining BAU systems stability and systems solutioning in support of Taiwan business growth.
• Review team capabilities, identify areas of skills needed, plan for domain and soft skills upgrading of team.  Aligning with group policies, industry / regulatory and business needs to upskill team capabilities.  Leading and nurturing team members, providing managements support and feedback.
• Own Taiwan Technology & Operation Change & Solutions budget plan and monitor expenditure
• Align with business, global teams to plan and steward technology aspects of our application roadmap.  Aligning and adapting with evolving Infosecurity, Cybersecurity requirements from regulator and group wise. As well as leading team in looking at globally aligned (where application) tools and modern tools and methods (eg. AI tools) to simplify and de-clutter the landscape. 
• Manage key vendors relationships constructively to strive for the interest of AllianzGI
• Project steering / resourcing management of projects of which team in engaged.

What you bring

• 10+ years of working experience in Technology / Operations as business analyst, with solid SDLC, project management experience. With 5yrs+ people manager experience of a sizeable team of 10+ (preferably leading an application team)
• Good university degree in IT, Business Administration,  Engineering, or related field of study (or relevant working experience)
• Good Proficiency in Mandarin, English
• Relevant business experience, preferably with an investment manager or financial institution; good understanding of asset management business is a plus
• Experience and knowledge of working with local Taiwan Asset Management systems (such as SystemWeb, Jepun) would be a plus
• Experience in global / regional & local reporting and handling projects and change initiatives with a  cross-functional scope
• Experience in project / budget / business case calculations as well as conducting RfIs / RfPs
• High level of leadership, motivation, strong dedication, energetic and result-oriented attitude
• Excellent communication, people, and stakeholder management skills to be applied in conveying impactful recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
• Growth mindset, keeping updated on latest industry, technology suitable for application for the company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and calmly under pressure
• Good understanding of the end-to-end investment management value chain and key regulatory requirements would be a plus
• AI skills: ChatGPT. Business intelligence, Data Analytics, ETL processes, Software Development Life Cycle
