Role Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable
Infrastructure Solution Architect
to join the GMI Global Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable cluster deployment architectures while ensuring accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for our GPU cluster solutions. Additionally, the Infrastructure Solution Architect will support the pre-sales process, collaborating with sales teams to address customer requirements and craft compelling technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and document scalable deployment architectures for GPU cluster solutions.
  2. Support NVIDIA NCP Reference Architecture (RA) design, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, and integration requirements.
  3. Create Bill of Materials (BOM) for hardware and relevant components essential for deployments.
  4. Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and methodologies supporting GPU workloads, including liquid cooling solutions for GPUs.
  5. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into feasible technical solutions.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops tailored to client needs.
  7. Participate in customer meetings and calls, addressing technical queries and providing expert insights.
  8. Provide ongoing support and optimization for deployed solutions, addressing any performance-related issues.
  9. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specification, architecture diagrams, and best practices.
  10. Assist in the deployment of GPU clusters and infrastructure components, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
  11. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in GPU computing and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Systems Architect, or similar role, specifically in GPU infrastructure computing.
  3. Strong understanding of cloud architectures, specifically GPU-as-a-Service models.
  4. Knowledge of AI/ML workloads and optimization techniques for GPU platforms.
  5. Experience with NVIDIA technologies and architectures.
  6. Experience with cluster deployment technologies and platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenStack, etc.).
  7. Familiarity with cost estimation, Bill of Material preparation (GPU, CPU, Storage, Network Switches, Transceiver, Router, PDU, etc), and procurement processes.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Familiarity with GPU liquid cooling technologies and systems.
  10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer solutions.
