We are looking for an Animator to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with our design team to create high-quality animations and visual effects that align with our product's style and vision. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders, including Product Designers, game Artists, developers, and product managers, to ensure the animations meet product requirements and enhance player engagement and immersion. If you thrive in a fast-paced game development environment, can design and efficiently produce dynamic, engaging, and polished animations and effects, and consistently meet deadlines, this role is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and create high-quality 2D animations, including characters, objects, and effects for games.

  2. Ensure animation style aligns with the game's design concepts and project requirements.

  3. Create captivating VFX (Visual Effects) to enhance player experience.

  4. Design interactive animations tailored to various game mechanics, enriching dynamic visual effects.

  5. Work closely with UI/UX Designers, Game Artists, Developers, and PMs to ensure smooth integration of animations into the game.

  6. Actively participate in design meetings, offering professional insights and animation solutions.

  7. Optimize animation effects based on user feedback and testing results to ensure smooth performance across multiple devices.

  8. Maintain and update the animation asset library for efficient resource utilization.

  9. Stay updated with the latest trends in game animation and VFX design, offering innovative and effective animation solutions.

  10. Enhance visual appeal and interactivity, ensuring an immersive player experience.

Qualification:

  • Proven experience in 2D animation design and production.

  • Proficiency in Spine and After Effects animation tools.

  • Familiarity with game animation design principles and requirements.

  • 3+ years of experience in game animation design, with a solid understanding of game development workflows and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong sense of animation rhythm, dynamic expression, and creativity.

  • Ability to independently complete design proposals and translate concepts into functional animations.

  • Strong team collaboration skills and effective communication across different roles.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle design challenges under pressure.

Good to have:

  • Experience with Cocos Particle Effects system.

  • Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine.

  • Proficiency with Maya, Blender, or other 3D animation tools.

  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration with international teams.

  • Strong aesthetic sense and experience in the gaming industry.

  • Experience in Slot Games production

  • Ability to leverage AI tools in animation design workflows.
