Primary Responsibilities

Principle responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement processes across the organization to prepare, review monthly financial results and perform analysis of financial operating statements, including comparison with budget, prior year and forecast

  • Partner with commercial team on the execution of business strategies; providing analytical support as necessary for key business decisions

  • Provide financial advices on special projects and/or strategic initiatives

  • Liaise with supply chain and marketing team on developing supply demand and out of stock related reporting processes

  • Assist Taiwan Finance Lead in managing Finance Budget and AR/DSO budget via establishing reporting timelines, calendars, deliverables for monthly, forecast and budget reporting

  • Prepare other ad-hoc reports if requested

Operating Plan (Budget) / Quarterly Forecast (55%)

  • Creation, coordination, analysis & preparation of commercial expense as well as expense management

  • Responsible for the development of cohesive financial message/commentary for the Taiwan Budget/Forecast

  • Establish effective/efficient Revenue Gross-to-Net process to enhance profit and monitor monthly result comparing with Budget & Forecast

  • Partner with the Commercial, Supply Chain and Enabling Functional teams to understand the business and its key drivers in order to define the requirements and facilitate the consolidation of the Budget/Forecast

  • Provide oversight to Taiwan's commercial team on preparation of detailed analyses in support of annual Budget/Forecast

Management Reporting (30%)

  • Create and oversee processes to review and analyze monthly results

  • Create and oversee the preparation and analysis of Taiwan financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions to Viatris Corporate and/or Regional team

  • Work with Center of Excellence (CoE) in creating and defining Viatris Taiwan's management reporting requirements for Actuals, Forecast and Budget

Month-end Closing (15%)

  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and submit financial reporting to Global system on time

  • G2N (Gross-to-Net) management: assist to review the revenue deduction based on contract term and record in the timely manner
