Job Summary: The GFM Digital Business & Strategy team is charting a new digital course across Global Financial Markets, revolutionizing customer and employee journeys. We develop cutting-edge digital and data strategies and drive transformative change in how we conduct business. As a TW GFM Digital & Data Lead, you will collaborate closely with business partners and stakeholders in Taiwan to champion the adoption and development of our Digital and Data solutions. You will drive business development, pitch digital and data propositions to both internal and external customers, and drive customer success. You will lead a data scientist within the team, fostering a culture of innovation and ensure the effective utilization of data-driven insights together with GFM sales and trading teams. We seek a highly independent and self-motivated individual to drive client acquisition and adoption of our digital and data solutions across Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the adoption of our Digital and Data solutions across various channels in Taiwan, meeting quantitative targets for client acquisition and solution adoption.
- Research and identify new client growth segments and collaborate with local business stakeholders to develop compelling digital and data propositions for internal and external customers.
- Manage digital and data budget and performance tracking for the Taiwan GFM digitalization, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
- Drive local initiatives and provide high-level solutioning to address complex business challenges and opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a data scientist, overseeing their projects, fostering their professional development, and ensuring the delivery of impactful data-driven solutions.
- Prepare customer RFPs and presentations with business stakeholders, pitching our digital and data propositions as integral components of holistic banking solutions.
- Engage with client post-implementation to ensure their success, gather feedback on our solutions, and relay this feedback to DBS product teams for continuous improvement.
- Participate in cross-BU/SU initiatives and foster collaboration to create digital and data solutions that enhance the customer journey.
- Conduct internal and external client training/adoption programs to raise awareness of our digital and data solutions among sales teams and clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Treasury related functions.
- Passionate in problem solving and solutioning for customers.
- Knowledge of technical aspects such as API, middleware, and networks is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial markets trading / sales platform is a plus.
- Experience in customer pitching and presentations is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring junior team members, particularly in data-focused roles, is a strong advantage.
- Highly self-driven and motivated.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively within the organization and with external parties.
