Program Manager – Software

Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end program management for low-level software components including BIOS, firmware, and device drivers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as hardware, OS, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Plan, allocate, and track resources across multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and optimal utilization.
- Gather, document, and prioritize software feature requirements in collaboration with product teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct technical and operational feasibility studies for new features and platform enhancements.
- Act as the point of contact for security-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with security standards.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between system teams, ODMs, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of platform configurations, software versions, and inventory details.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Build and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time.

Work ExperienceQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management within software development environments.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and hardware-software integration.
- Strong understanding of low-level software (BIOS, UEFI, device drivers) and platform initialization flows.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux OS internals and hardware-software interaction for effective issue triage and resolution.
- Understanding of PC/Laptop architecture and platform components
- Experience working with ODMs and global supply chain partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with security compliance standards and escalation processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
Preferred Skills:
- PMP or Agile certification.
- Knowledge of embedded systems or platform software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
