Team Overview:

The Quality Assurance team is dedicated to assuring product quality, timely responsiveness, compliance and committed to championing quality best practices throughout the company. The company has an onsite Process Engineering team in Taiwan and boarder teams supporting quality and engineering activities in Asia and the US.

This role requires an individual who can thrive in a multi-functioning position that includes elements of Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering duties. Candidates should have demonstrated experience implementing strategies that maintain good communication, solidify partner relationships, reduce the cost of quality issues, and drive on-time delivery of materials. This will be a 100% onsite position to work directly on the shop floor with a subcontractor to manage product quality.

What You Will Do:
Oversee Outgoing Inspection process (AOI - Automatic Optical Inspection and VI – Visual Inspection) at the subcontractor siteProvide training to new Quality InspectorsDrive root cause analysis process for structure and on-time submission of corrective actionsLead on quality issue troubleshooting and resolutions with the subcontractorReview the effectiveness of actions with the subcontractorMonitor quality engineering activities and report as per company requirementsInitiate technical quality improvement process from AOI, VI, and Customer Complaint resultsCoordinate with Impinj Operation teams in product transfer to different warehouses and customersSupport onsite Annual Supplier Audit processCoordinate for Impinj's Quality System deployment, create and maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 standard at subcontractorWork with the subcontractor to maintain quality objectives/ KPIsSupport Quality Inspection of new products & processesSupport RMA (Return of Merchandise Authorization) processWhat You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering discipline5+ years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance Engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industryExperience working as a resident quality engineer or supplier quality engineer is preferredExperience performing quality auditsExperienced in 8D, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis to troubleshoot quality issuesExperience in wafer handling, wafer inspection, semiconductor die using microscope (VZM-2000 or Confocal), and RMA (Return Merchandise/ Material Authorization) processExperience with a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environmentGood communication in English and MandarinExperienced in MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and D365US Export Controls:
