About The Opportunity
The Business Intelligence (BI) team is the strategic data partner to the entire organization, responsible for generating the insights that drive our most critical business decisions. As we scale, we are looking for a world-class
Delivery & Operations Senior Manager
to be the operational backbone of the BI function.

This not a typical management role. Your core mission is to build a predictable, efficient, and scalable "analytics factory." A key part of this is acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and our technical team.

You will be the
"Product Manager for Data Requests,"
responsible for deconstructing ambiguous asks, discovering the "question behind the question," and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for our data scientists.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Mentor: Run all agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retros), manage the day-to-day workload of a high-performing data science team, and remove blockers to ensure the team is operating at peak efficiency.
• Own Delivery: Take full ownership of the BI project roadmap, from intake and prioritization to execution and stakeholder communication. You will be the primary point of contact for all inbound data requests.
• Translate & Deconstruct: Act as the primary owner and enforcer of the team's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will work consultatively with stakeholders to see past vague requests, discover the true business need, and translate it into well-defined technical specifications.
• Ensure Quality: Partner with the Data Engineering team to manage the implementation of our Data Quality Framework, own the QA/UAT process for new deliverables, and provide senior technical guidance on data modeling and dashboard architecture.
• Build the Future: As your initial hands-on mission, you will spearhead the creation of our new Mobile Analytics function—from defining the strategy with the Product team to hiring and managing the first Mobile Analyst.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role leading technical teams.
• A Product Mindset: You have a proven ability to work with non-technical stakeholders, deconstruct ambiguous requests, and translate complex business problems into clear, actionable requirements. Experience in a product management or technical product owner role is a major plus.
• Operational Excellence: Deep expertise in agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira). You have a proven track record of building and optimizing processes that improve team velocity and predictability.
• A "Player-Coach" Mentality: You are comfortable diving into the technical details and providing architectural guidance, but your primary focus is on coaching your team and enabling their success.
• Stakeholder Management: You are a master of managing expectations and communicating complex technical concepts. You are politically savvy and can say "no" constructively to preserve the team's focus.
• A Builder's Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and have a passion for building systems and teams from the ground up.
