Job Summary

We are seeking a Product Design Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and improving physical products from concept through to final production. The ideal candidate will determine the most efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes and materials and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing to ensure the final product meets all design specifications, quality standards, and is optimized for production.

Main Responsibilities

• Server/ Networking/ Switch/ Storage/GPU product development, responsible for the development of server-based new products, including customer technical services and support, development cost evaluation, product design analysis, evaluation and optimization, product development and verification plans.
• 2D/3D/BOM collation and update of customer design data, assist in NPI production, assembly verification, mass product organization design confirmation and problem analysis, DOE planning, etc.
• Coordinate communication and cooperation between product engineers, moulding engineers and client engineers, assist in improving production yield, and integrate factory concern with customer product design issues.
• Mechanism parts mold DFM, product assembly DFA review and PPAP GPM and sample recognition.
• PCBA layout placement, TA analysis.
• Research of new technologies, patent writing and application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, graduate students are preferred, major in mechanical engineering.
• More than 5 years of structure-related project development experience in Server/Storage/Switch development experience is preferred
• Proficient in using Pro/E Creo and Windchill.
• Added advantages for candidate with product development experience
• Factory experience is preferred
• Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing.
