Senior Product Designer

Positive Grid is a company dedicated to innovation in music technology, creating breakthrough amp modeling, tone editing, and creative tools for guitarists around the world.

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with strong product vision and an AI-native mindset to join our design team.

In this role, you will take ownership of the product experience—from translating user needs into interaction flows, to defining design systems and visual language. You'll be a strategic partner within the product team, shaping the logic and visual expression of our future products.

We are especially interested in designers who can integrate AI into their design process—not just as a tool, but as a mindset. You will apply AIGC technologies like GPT and Midjourney to product thinking, modular system building, and visual concept development.

Beyond UI execution, you'll collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and visual designers to drive a product design process centered on innovation and efficiency.

【Typical Accountabilities】

【UI/UX Architecture and Interaction Design】

-Plan and design user flows and interaction frameworks across platforms (Web / iOS / Android), improving usability and interaction clarity.

-Translate product requirements and user scenarios into concrete information architecture and interaction patterns, defining the foundation of the user experience.

-Design UI screens with strong visual consistency and system logic, ensuring cohesive cross-platform behavior and high-quality execution of interface components.

【Design Language and Visual System Development】

-Establish and maintain the product's design language system, integrating brand identity, interaction logic, and visual expression to ensure interface consistency and recognizability.

-Collaborate with visual designers to translate style strategies into scalable UI components and design assets that support modular growth and long-term evolution.

【AI Integration and Workflow Innovation】

-Integrate AI tools such as GPT and Midjourney into the day-to-day design process, applying them to concept development, visual language exploration, and modular system building.

-Develop AI-native design workflows that combine prompt thinking with product goals to enhance efficiency and expand creative possibilities.

【Cross-functional Collaboration and Design Communication】

-Act as a core member of the product design team, working closely with PMs, engineers, visual, and marketing teams to drive design strategy and product direction.

-Communicate design rationale clearly and effectively, translating abstract ideas into tangible user experiences and visual language, and building alignment through thoughtful proposals.

【Essential】

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a proven track record of owning and

delivering end-to-end product design solutions.

• Proficient in Figma and Photoshop, with the ability to design and build cross-platform (Web / iOS / Android) interfaces and component systems.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools such as GPT and Midjourney for design

exploration, concept development, or modular system creation; familiarity with

prompt writing and language control.

• A strong and detailed portfolio is required,showcasing your design capabilities,

process, and outcomes.

【Desirable】

• Interest or hands-on experience in music, guitar, or sound creation, with the

ability to empathize with user workflows and creative goals.

• Experience with 3D modeling, rendering,or photography, with an understanding

of lighting, material textures, and product presentation—especially helpful for

refining visual quality in gear-oriented products like BIAS X.
