Job Description:
The Role:

  • This position is responsible for implementing and continuously improving the EHS program to ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and Entegris' EHS requirements. In addition, this position will work with Entegris' EHS department as a member of the site management team to identify, prevent and resolve potential EHS issues.
  • This position is located in Kaohsiung Science Park (KSP)

In this role you will:

  • Implement Entegris' chemical and toxic management (including Entegris' electronic system use, maintaining SDS, hazardous material lists, CCBs, and performing environmental monitoring of the work environment (including statutory and non-statutory requirements)).
  • Implement personal protective equipment management (this includes chemical labeling management)
  • Assist in promoting improvements in the organization's safety culture, awareness and accountability.
  • Assist in implementing the plant's safety and health (SH) management to ensure compliance.
  • Assisting in the implementation of various statutory education and training.
  • Perform safety audits, including safety and health inspections, contractor construction audits, equipment safety inspections (PSSR), and job safety observations.
  • Assist in incident/accident investigations and develop corrective and preventive actions.
  • This position is responsible for the Kaohsiung plant and reports directly to the KSP EHS Manager.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental engineering or related technical majors.
  • 3+ years of factory and cleanroom EHS management experience.
  • Possess a B-level certificate in occupational safety and health management. (or above)
  • Compliance experience in EHS regulations, ISO14001 and ISO 45001, customer audits, etc.
  • Project management skills.
  • Good communication, ability to gain trust, and maintain positive professional relationships.
  • Proactive, positive, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
