We are a private equity firm launching a strategic initiative to improve the productivity and effectiveness of our business operations through the thoughtful adoption of AI tools. We are seeking a tech-savvy, curious, and hands-on AI Intern for a 6-month engagement to help us identify, evaluate, and securely integrate AI-enabled solutions into our internal processes.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about AI, process optimization, and enterprise productivity — and who is eager to explore how modern tools can be adopted within the constraints of a regulated, security-conscious environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Learn and document current business operations, internal workflows, and productivity tools
● Identify bottlenecks and manual processes that could benefit from AI automation or augmentation
● Evaluate specific tools for business impact and secure integration, including: - Affinity – Relationship management and CRM - Vestberry – Portfolio and fund reporting - Zapier – Workflow automation and integration - Gamma – AI-powered presentation and documentation - Lutra AI – Internal knowledge and productivity assistant
● Assess alignment with the firm's information security and compliance policies
● Propose adjustments and changes to our infrastructure that would enable broader and secure adoption of AI tools
● Develop clear use cases, implementation roadmaps, and internal documentation
● Create comparisons, recommendations, and potential pilot workflows for leadership review
Ideal Candidate Profile
● Bachelor's degree or above in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
● Strong interest in AI, digital transformation, and operational efficiency
● Practical, systems-oriented thinker with a strong curiosity for new tools and methods
Analytical and detail-driven; able to break down workflows and assess improvement opportunities
● Excellent communication and documentation skills
● Familiarity with enterprise data security and governance concepts is a plus
