As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for safeguard the Cloud Security infrastruture which supporitng multi-cloud environments. You will explore and learn different cloud providers, ex. AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Oracle Cloud, etc. You'll work closely with architects, cloud engineer, and security champions to create robust security frameworks, automate security controls, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Plan, build, manage, and optimize our AWS infrastructure, including but not limited to services like AWS S3, RDS, SSM, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, etc. 

  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure environment consistency and repeatability.

  • Monitor Cloud resource utilization, cost, and performance, providing recommendations for optimization.

• CI/CD Pipeline Development & Maintenance:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Action to enable rapid and reliable application deployments.

  • Drive the adoption of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) to optimize application deployment and scalability.

• Monitoring & Alerting:

  • Build and maintain comprehensive system monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms (e.g., CloudWatch, Graylog, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure system health and early detection of potential issues.

  • Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.

• Automation & Scripting:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.

  • Actively seek and implement automation opportunities to streamline routine operational tasks.

• Team Collaboration & Learning:

  • Actively participate in team discussions, share knowledge and expertise, and collectively drive technical advancements, ensuring adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles for systematic, efficient project management.

  • Engage in DevSecOps practices to integrate security measures from the onset of projects, fostering a security-first mindset within the team.

  • Continuously learn new DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices, including DevSecOps strategies to proactively address security at every phase of the SDLC, and apply them to practical work to enhance efficiency and security.

• Testing Methodologies & Practices: 

  • A strong understanding of various testing types, including functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing.

• Test Automation: 

  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining automated tests. This often requires knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and experience with automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.

• Proficiency with AI-Powered Testing Tools: 

  • Experience using and integrating AI-driven platforms and tools. This includes a clear understanding of how these tools perform tasks such as automated test generation.

• Adaptability and Continuous Learning: 

  • The AI landscape is evolving rapidly. A key soft skill is the willingness and ability to stay up-to-date with new AI tools, frameworks, and methodologies and to adapt to new workflows as they emerge.
