Staff Test Product Engineer

MaxLinear is seeking a Staff Test Product Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible and focus on the following:

• Support and resolve test production engineering, test software, and hardware-related issue, including evaluation, debugging, optimization during ramp-up/high volume production
• Migrating the existing production test programs to multisite and a cost-effective or a modern tester
• Develops innovative solutions for high parallel testing, new methodologies to improve coverage and test time, and more efficient program structures

• Minimum 10 years of product and test development engineering experience or related work experience is required
• Experience with several states of the art Automated Test Equipment (ATE), preferably on Teradyne Ultraflex, Advantest V93K, Teradyne J750 and Cohu D10 is required
• Solid understanding and experience developing an ATE SoC program from NPI to high volume ramp stage is required
• Strong analytical skills and proven competency in problem-solving is required
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, strong time management, multi-tasking skills, and good initiative to overcome technical challenges are required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Experience with testing of Broadband RF front-end receiver, wideband modem, Wifi, MoCA, Docsis and PCIE is preferred
• Strong software skills (Java, C/C , Visual Basic, Perl, Python, etc.) is preferred
• Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, RF signal generators, power meter, network analyzer is preferred
