About the Opportunity:

Are you a passionate fintech operations professional looking to take your expertise to the next level? Join BTSE as a Junior Payment Operations Specialist and become a key player in managing and scaling our global payment infrastructure.In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, timely, and accurate processing of payments across multiple channels and providers. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to monitor transactions, resolve payment-related issues, and continuously improve operational workflows. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in payment operations and a passion for operational excellence in a high-growth environment.

• Monitor and manage daily operations with payment service providers (PSPs), resolving queries and ensuring service continuity.
• Own and optimize end-to-end operational processes to support seamless payment execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while maintaining compliance and control standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Payment Partnership, Product, and Risk teams to align business requirements with operational capabilities.
• Lead and implement process improvements to increase automation, scalability, and efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve payment-related inquiries, including reconciliation, transaction tracing, exceptions, chargebacks, and disputes.
• Provide insights through transaction analytics and support financial reconciliations.

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in payment operations within fintech, banking, payment processors, e-commerce, crypto, or iGaming industries.
• Strong understanding of global payment systems, including payment gateways, merchant acquiring, settlement flows, international transfers, and card network operations.
• Proven ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex payment issues.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• High attention to detail, with a strong sense of ownership, integrity, and accountability.
• Flexibility to work with shifting schedules as the team expands in the near future.
