Role Overview  

This is your opportunity to become a leader in ecommerce in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment which thrives on creativity and rapid advancement. We solve problems no one has solved before to create a world where people ask, "How did we ever live without Coupang?" ​  You will have the opportunity to learn the ecommerce business by gaining hands on experience in retail stream working with some of the brightest global minds. ​  

What You Will Do 

• Identify and develop suppliers, including completing all documentation, creating plans, and establishing KPI management structures to drive performance
• Product sourcing with a focus on fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
• Price negotiation and supplier discussions
• Supplier and item management
• Establish an effective and accurate system to monitor purchase orders
• Submit weekly purchase order reports to the supervisor, including closed invoice numbers
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure all deliveries meet specified orders and report any delays or out-of-stock items

Basic Qualifications  

We look for exceptional people from a variety of backgrounds with a minimum of 2 years working experience. No previous retail industry experience is required; rather you will demonstrate a strong desire to learn and be motivated by business impact.  ​ Driven by results you will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of achievement and progression in your career. You thrive in fast paced, agile environments where you can solve complex problems. ​Your experience to date has prepared you as a problem solver, you are intellectually curious, asking and answering questions others don't think to ask and developing solutions others have not thought of trying. Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in a related industry such as manufacturing, tech or logistics. Understanding of Retail is a plus.
• Strong track record of proven achievement with career progression. Ideally will have progressed faster than others. May have received performance awards.
• ​Experience working on task force teams or special project teams.​ ​
• Experience in a global/international environment/culture.
