Senior Construction Manager

The group you'll be a part of You will be participating the contruction project in Taiwan, Hsinchu. The impact you'll make As a Sr. Construction Manager at Lam, with your project management expertise, you'll plan and oversee facility changes for plant, tool installations, and production equipment layouts. You'll work with architects to develop design criteria, layouts, and prepare contracts. You inspect construction and installation progress to ensure adherence with established specifications and schedules. Your focus on performance specifications required to meet unique operating conditions contributes to the efficiency and compliance of Lam's state of the art facilities. What you'll do Plans facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations.Leads architecture/engineering firms and company engineers in developing initial project design criteria and layouts and schematic drawings for industrial construction projects.  Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique factory/ research lab operating requirements and building safety codes. Leads engineers, consultants, and company procurement professionals to develop bid documents for construction and facilities acquisition.  Engages with legal to originate construction contract agreements consistent with project scope, value, and company risk profile. Reviews and estimates design and project construction costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, start-up preparation and other related costs. Inspects construction site and attends the contractor led progress meetings to monitory conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
