Develop PD Controller firmware on Notebook/Desktop/Embedded Host applications and ensure compliance with USB PD specifications.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

  • Develop PD Controller firmware on Notebook/Desktop/Embedded Host applications and ensure compliance with USB PD specifications.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to USB PD firmware, including identifying and resolving problems, and collaborating with SW/Validation/Design teams to resolve system-level issues.
  • Test and validate USB PD firmware applications to ensure they meet the required specifications, performance, and reliability standards.
  • Support new/customized feature implementation on customer design.
  • Conduct technical training on system levels with internal and external stakeholders
  • Establishing and maintaining customer relations

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Information Engineering.
  • 5+ years of work experience in firmware development related fields.
  • Familiar with C language developing/programming skills are needed.
  • Good experience with embedded processor architecture.
  • Experience in firmware development environment such as Eclipse IDE, ModusTool Box IDE, etc.
  • Familiar with various debugging techniques and experience in using debugging tools.
  • Communication interface skills: I2C, UART, SPI, etc.
  • Knowledge of USB Power Delivery (PD) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of hardware design is a plus.
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as Git is a plus.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
