Senior Unity SDK / OpenXR Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to own the Unity developer experience. You will design and build the OpenXR-based Unity SDK and sample projects that our internal team and third-party developers will use to create games for our platform. This role is for experts comfortable at the intersection of Unity (C#), XR technology, and low-level native APIs.

Must-Have Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional Unity + C# experience.
  • Hands-on XR experience (shipped at least one XR/VR/AR title or SDK).
  • Strong low-level skills: Experience with Unity native plugins (C/C++) and bridging the gap between C# and native code.
  • Familiarity with core OpenXR concepts and architecture.
  • Solid understanding of 3D math, spatial tracking, and coordinate system conversions.
  • Experience working at a fast moving startup.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Direct experience with open-source XR runtimes.
  • Experience with full-body tracking, IK systems, or character animation.
  • Android development/NDK experience.
