Responsible for implementing and maintaining EHS programs at our Taipei manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with Taiwan's Occupational Safety and Health Act (職業安全衛生法) and international standards (ISO 45001/ Acts as the primary point of contact for all site-specific EHS matters.

Core Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance

  • Conduct monthly safety audits aligned with Taiwan OSHA requirements
  • Maintain chemical SDS databases per Taiwan's Toxic Chemical Substances Control Act (毒性化學物質管理法)

Risk Management

  • Lead incident investigations using Taiwan-specific reporting formats (職業災害調查表)
  • Implement PPE programs meeting CNS standards

Training & Culture

  • Deliver bilingual (Mandarin/English) safety training for 200+ employees
  • Organize annual 消防演習 (fire drills) as required by local fire codes

Data & Reporting

  • Prepare quarterly EHS reports for corporate HQ and Taiwan authorities
  • Monitor air/water emissions per EPA Taiwan regulations

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's in Occupational Safety/Environmental Engineering (or 2-year degree + 6 years experience)
    • 甲種職業安全衛生業務主管 certificate preferred
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years in Taiwan manufacturing EHS
    • Familiarity with Taiwan Labor Inspection processes
  • Skills:
    • Fluent in Mandarin + business English
    • Proficient in EHS software (e.g., Intelex)
    • Knowledge of local waste disposal regulations

Work Conditions

  • On-site presence required at Taipei facility (80%)
  • Occasional travel to supplier sites in Taoyuan/HSZ
