As the Senior Accountant, you're a key finance team member of Inspire Brands Capital, Growth, focused on finance and accounting of the Growth region (i.e Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand). Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the TIBC Country Manager. This role will be the key finance and accounting representative on the ground for the growth markets while being based in Taiwan, to focus on the finance and accounting requirements and manage and review the work performed by the outsource accounting team and also to liase with operations team in the Growth region to facilitate in all finance and accounting matters. This role will work directly with functional leaders to implement the systems and processes, proven methodologies and frameworks whilst also tailoring solutions for local nuances, opportunities and challenges.

JOB DUTIES

  • Review and manage all outsource accounting/book keepers for financial reporting needs for all Growth regions to ensure timely and accurate month end and year end closing
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliation
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data in compliance with policies
  • Review and process all invoices for payment, prior to the final review of the Regional Financial Controller
  • Develop and maintain control processes in terms of revenue cycle, vendor payment cycle and payroll cycle
  • Ad-hoc analysis or related duties as required or assigned
  • Handle corporate tax and VAT
  • Handle banking matters (setup and maintenance)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle daily financial operation activities (may include managing of outsource accounting firms)
  • Prepare financial analysis
  • Liase with external auditors/internal stakeholders/banks etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  1. University degree in Accounting/Finance
  2. Equivalent Work Experience

Experience:

  1. Minimum 3 years of progressive working experience in accounting and finance
  2. In depth knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
