Our client is a distinguished international luxury group, and our firm is on appointment for the search for a Managing Director for Taiwan, based in Taipei.

This role represents a rare opportunity to assume stewardship of a mature and strategically important market at a moment of thoughtful evolution. The Managing Director will be entrusted with the full breadth of market leadership — setting commercial direction, guiding retail and wholesale performance, safeguarding brand equity, and developing the next generation of leadership within the organisation.

Working in close partnership with regional leadership, the role calls for a leader capable of balancing rigour with intuition: one who understands both the discipline of P&L management and the subtleties of luxury, client relationships, and long-term brand building. Beyond performance, the mandate is cultural — to lead with clarity, judgment, and credibility in a market where reputation and trust are paramount.

The ideal candidate will bring substantial senior leadership experience in luxury or premium retail environments, a deep understanding of the Taiwan market, and the ability to operate confidently with local and regional stakeholders. Fluency in Chinese and English is essential.
