About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solution Lead to join our IT function. This role is pivotal in driving technical leadership, solution design, consulting, and hands-on development for projects primarily in the NAPAC (North Asia and Pacific) region and Japan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud software development, data work, and possess excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of game-changing data & digital cloud-based solutions (in Azure or AWS) to be used by our commercial and Affiliate teams
• Perform hands-on data-related tasks such as SQL database management, Python scripting, and data modeling as well as troubleshooting and application optimization
• Play multiple roles including collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical consulting and guidance to stakeholders, mentoring developers and leading without authority
• Understand business processes & strategy and translate requirements (i.e., features & user stories) into secure and scalable technical solutions.
• Consult with internal stakeholders such as technical product owners, brand teams, privacy & analytics to develop applications or data products & analyses that drive business outcomes.
• Bring creativity and curiosity to embed innovation, such as automation & AI, into every solution you build while ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to best practices, scalability, privacy-by-design, security-by-design, and compliance to any Data Usage requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud software development and experience in cloud technologies such as AWS and/or Azure)
• Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
• Data Modeler/Data Engineering experience and proficiency in SQL and/or Python
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in project management, leading development teams and delivering solutions with agile delivery methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology (Strong learning agility), to act as change agent, and to take ownership of issues
• Experience with business intelligence / data visualization solutions such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Experience in a regulated industry
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English and Mandarin language is required

• Automation experience as well as full stack development experience (front-end and back-end)
