Job Title: Electrical Principal Engineer

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Principal Engineer to join our Hardware Development Team in Taipei. The successful candidate will participate in the development of next-generation large-scale AI Infrastructure with focus on power systems architecture development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical planning guidance on key power system technologies and design development processes aimed at improving innovation, automation, agility, team efficiency, and quality.
  • Design power systems for Storage/Server products including power architecture design, CPU/DIMM VRD design and Intel CPU VRTT validations, power related analog circuit design, Li-ion battery charging/discharging circuit design.
  • Provide technical program management to include proposal review, project planning, issue tracking and global supplier management.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' related experience in Power Systems Design and Development including DC-DC Power Conversion, Power Distribution, Electrical Circuit Protection Features and Battery Chargers.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding specifications, data sheets and other technical documents; advanced ability to write requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, tech plans and documentation.
  • Understanding of related power technologies, vendor products and industry offerings.
  • Ability to identify potential product weaknesses and provide design recommendations for improvements.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Aptitude in embedded firmware and/or energy hold-up technologies.
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
