Group/Division
SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Primary Purpose of Role

• Support SPTS division software team with troubleshooting, CIP implementation, technical info consulting.
• Communication with customer tool owners, IT and Automation teams.
• Coordinate with Technical Support and Customer Service teams on issue escalations.
• Manage resolution plans with customers, in alignment with the SPTS division software team.
• Collection and analysis of diagnostic data.
• Actively involved in root cause fault analysis.
• Reporting out on software quality metrics.

Key Behavioral Competencies

• Experience of SPTS 200mm/300mm equipment, including Factory Automation integration.
• Experience of equipment software/hardware support and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of 200mm/300mm Automation related SEMI standards.
• Self-motivated and can work independently.
• Competency in communication, teamwork, problem solving and customer focus.

Qualifications & Experience

• Mandatory to be able to communicate technically in local language and English.
• Major in EE/ME/CS or engineering related degree.
• Over 3 years working experience at SEMI conductor industry.
• Knowledge/experience of PVD/Etch process over 2 years is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
