Job Responsibilities :
  • Spatial Sound Feature Verification: Verify spatial sound features such as Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic to ensure optimal audio performance.
  • Driver Testing and Compatibility: Test audio drivers across a list of popular games and applications to ensure compatibility and functionality.
  • Customer Test Procedure Adherence: Follow and execute test procedures provided by customers to ensure alignment with their requirements.
  • Issue Reproduction and Analysis: Reproduce and analyze customer-reported issues, collaborating with R&D teams to identify root causes and verify fixes.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Provide regular updates to development, PM, and FAE teams to drive defect closure and ensure smooth project progress.
  • Process Optimization and Automation: Improve automation processes to reduce manual efforts and increase testing efficiency. Implement automation scripts and tools to enhance the overall QA process.
  • Debugging and Issue Resolution: Utilize debugging tools such as DebugView and WinDbg to accelerate issue resolution and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Pre-Requisites :Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience
  • 10 years of experience in system-level validation, PC driver and firmware integration, and audio feature testing.
  • Proven experience in validation strategy planning and test plan development.
  • Strong background in PC audio and DSP firmware compatibility testing.
Skills
  • Proficient in system-level test planning and validation strategy.
  • Experience with PC audio drivers (Realtek, Cirrus Logic) and Windows platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of debugging tools such as DebugView, WinDbg, and Waves Internal Tools.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and risk analysis tools like JIRA and X-ray.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience with process optimization and automation implementation.
