Job Summary
Supermicro is seeking a Software Design Engineer for Chungho and Bade. This role will be working within a team to design, implement and maintain our front-end of server management product. Candidate should be self-motivated and eager to satisfy customers' need by considering security, performance, optimization and usability in their designs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Switch manufacturing test program implementation and test program maintenance
  • Switch diagnostic OS implementation and diagnostic OS maintenance
  • Work with PE and hardware engineer to resolve manufacturing problems and debugging
  • Write test plan based on hardware specification and schematics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science is preferred, MS degree is strongly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years' working experience in firmware development is preferred.
  • Programming Language: strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, with hands-on experience in embedded Linux development.
