We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Software / Firmware Engineering Manager to join our team as part of the End-to-end (E2E) System Prototyping and Validation team at RL Silicon. As a silicon validation firmware engineering manager, you will support, enable, and empower your team, managing high-performing engineers to make a meaningful impact on billions of people around the world.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of embedded software engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions for pre- and post- silicon platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, software) to drive technical innovation Build a collaborative team environment, focused on delivering outcomes against organization & team goals Develop and implement technical strategies to achieve business objectives Operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapting quickly to new information and re-prioritizing as needed Foster an environment of continuous learning and growth

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience 10+ years experience in developing firmware for embedded devices 2+ years of experience in directly managing and leading teams Demonstrated experience recruiting, building, structuring, and leading technical firmware engineering teams Experience supporting, coaching, mentoring, and developing embedded firmware engineers Experience with building roadmaps and developing a team to scale Fluent in English and Mandarin Experience in full life cycle base platform level software/firmware development on custom SoCs to bring a high volume product from design to mass production Experience in working with silicon vendors and supporting large volume device manufacturing Demonstrated specialized experience in two or more of the following areas: Board Support Package, Operating Systems, CoreOS, Kernel, Bootloader, Power Management, RTOS, Drivers, MCU (Microcontroller), DSPs (Digital Signal Processors), Communications (IPC, USB, PCIe, I3C, SPI)
