About the Role
Join Chubb Life Taiwan's dynamic AI Team as a Senior AI Engineer. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment to develop advanced solutions using analytics and artificial intelligence. You will apply industry best practices to deliver high-quality software products efficiently, while embracing the latest technological innovations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of AI Engineers and Software Engineers to develop and deliver AI software solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to understand and analyze business requirements.
  • Execute assigned tasks diligently, ensuring consistent progress.
  • Develop high-quality code that aligns with business objectives, quality standards, and secure development practices.
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to identify improvements and prioritize user stories.
  • Provide regular progress updates during daily standup meetings.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining project timelines and momentum.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics , Statistics or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in Machine Learning (ML), with expertise in writing and reviewing production-grade Python code.
  • Strong knowledge of ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), with hands-on experience implementing ML algorithms at scale.
  • Experience in building applications with large language models (LLMs) and leveraging them to enhance AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with distributed, high-throughput, and low-latency system architectures.
  • Proficiency in software development using containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and frameworks/tools such as FastAPI and Uvicorn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools and cloud deployment processes.
  • Understanding of end-to-end application development using a full-stack approach is a plus.
  • Experience in life insurance or other financial industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Fluency in English is a plus but not required.
