Job Summary:

Participate in the development and release process of InShop software product versions (preview, alpha, beta, major, minor, service pack) or new projects, by taking active part in requirement collection, discussion, review, testing, version training, supporting the local team or customer, project implementation, solving application issues and supplying workarounds.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Know all kinds of ICS AOI/ET processes and different OS/Network knowledge related to products.
• Be familiar with all features in detail at the system level and able to handle data integration between InShop/CAM products
• Install software and setup environments in full without help.
• Follow up on issues and fix status closely with R&D and verify them when fixed.
• Help QA, R&D and Marketing teams reproduce issues.
• Provide first-tier support to customers and local support teams by answering questions and providing workarounds without guidelines.
• Provide second-tier support to customers and local support teams by maintaining issues in the issues tracking system and by communication between HQ teams and the field without guidelines.
• Update R&D and Marketing teams on a regular basis with technical info from customers (clarify requests, supply relevant data, etc.), and provide ideas to improve.
• Perform release notes review, installation and functionality tests together with the QA team for product version release activities, in particular verifying fixes of customer issues.
• Prepare training materials and provide all kinds of training and demos to customers and local support teams.
• Implement and manage projects at customer sites and provide professional suggestions/solutions for questions/requests from customers, and be able to write scripts.
• Give creative ideas to improve work efficiency and quality for the team, to create and maintain all kinds of automation.
• Create and maintain documents, work environments, data and tools.
• Participate in Alpha tests "in-house" and Beta tests at customer sites.
• Help the manager train new engineers and arrange daily work when needed.
• Meet release timeline and testing quality criteria as defined by the manager.

Experience Requirements

• Experience with software application/support
• Experience with and excellent knowledge in script writing
• Good English: reading, writing and verbal is mandatory

Advantages

• More years' experience with PCB CAM/Engineering system maintenance
• Software programming
• Experience with team leader or management
• Familiar with Windows Word, Excel or other common PC applications.
• Familiar with KLA Frontline software products, such as Genesis2000/InCAM Pro
• Knowledge on computer technology, Network and Linux.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
