Purchaser/Planner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and purchase material requirements per MRP and ensure the flow of materials for ongoing production as well as for new products in development.
- Monitor and fulfil sales demand and material shortages by following up closely with internal and/or CM production schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate server order/demand communication for decent inventory level across different departments/commodities and expedite demand fulfilment.
- Remove slow moving and/or excess stock by cross department collaboration to keep healthy stock level.
- Other projects and tasks may be assigned based on business needs.
- 3+ years purchasing and planning related working experience.
- Experienced in MRP/ ERP/ SAP and supply chain management.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Language skills: Professional fluency in English (Listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Strong communication, negotiation, customer service skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Stress resistant. Can work under pressure & challenges.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
