Head of Sourcing

This job is focused on negotiations, selection, conducting price and capacity negotiations in alignment with Key Account Managers worldwide. Leading and developing the Sourcing department, contributing to defining the long term foundry strategy, ensuring alignment with the central procurement team and driving continuous improvement in processes and tooling are further key elements of this position.

In your new role you will:

• Contribute to defining the long term foundry strategy and drive its implementation
• Mentor and provide direction to employees in daily sourcing business, including negotiation strategy
• Ensure alignment with central procurement team and compliance with processes and methods
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and tooling to improve efficiency and speed of execution
• Lead foundry negotiations and selection to support the foundry roadmap, including price and capacity negotiations (annual basis or multi annual) in alignment with global Key Account Managers, contract amendment and extension
• Monitor and report on savings and purchasing volume projections for foundries and secure capacity in short and long term.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A minimum of 12 years working experience in the semiconductor industry, experienced with foundries and/or procurement is an added advantage.
• A strategic and analytic mindset and toolset
• An existing strong network, preferably including Asia foundries
• Very good communication skills across the different management levels
• Relevant working experience in international teams
• Business fluent English
