PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Grow the company's air and ocean freight business/services, in accordance with the sales strategy
• Serve as the main sales contact point for assigned customers.
• Find, develop and qualify leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers
• Maintain a sales pipeline to achieve agreed growth targets
• Manage customer interactions including fostering relationships, making customer calls and closing deals
• Drive the business and grow the company's revenue, market share and profitability
• Build relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including presentations to the customers and representation at industry events.
• Incorporate the daily use of the Global CRM platform to document sales activity and relevant customer business details. Major Accountabilities
• Research market and new opportunities, especially in air and ocean freight business.
• Develop, update and manage pipeline, screen and prioritize opportunities
• Collaborate closely with In-country Logistics, Global Business Development, Central Agency Development, and other country teams, other business units, and overseas agents to build pipeline and win new businesses.
• Participate in regional and local RFP/RFQ
• Prospect targets, identify customer needs, collect data
• Develop solution and pricing
• Negotiate and close deals
• Establish working rapport and trust with new customers
• Plan, coordinate and supervise implementation
• Collection of market information
• Support the Freight Forwarding Manager with Market information
• Participate Training program & Seminars to follow the changed market situation To succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have: - At least 3 years of sales experience in the Freight Forwarding business. - Good understanding of forwarding business - High level of communication and presentation skills and a customer-oriented mindset - Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented - Good English skill is preferable but not mandatory. - This position requires strong self-motivation and accountability, as you will be working in a hybrid setting. (Office and Work at home)
