Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve complex software issues.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Software Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience with Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a player-coach capacity.
  • Strong grasp of web fundamentals and API design principles.
  • Proficiency in relational databases and containerization tools like Docker.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
