Sulmara is seeking a
Senior Online Surveyor
to join our Taiwan Remote Operations Centre (TWROC). In this ROC based role, you will take the lead on USV (Uncrewed Surface Vessel) and remote survey projects, ensuring the highest standards in planning, documentation, operations, and reporting. You'll also play a key role in project coordination, supporting the Project Manager and developing skills toward future progression into USV Party Chief and Junior Project Manager roles.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support USV and remote survey projects from planning to closeout.
• Prepare, review, and manage project documentation and reports.
• Oversee online survey operations, data QA/QC, and processing.
• Ensure safe and proper use of company equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, ROC personnel, field teams, and marine crew.
• Support equipment mobilisation, onshore calibrations, and third party liaison.
• Represent Sulmara during client meetings and risk assessments (HIRAs).
• Promote strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Manage project data and support onshore processing workflows.
• Primarily working 12hr shifts from the Taiwan ROC.
• Attend the Taipei office during project preparation.
• Occasionally attend offshore projects as an online surveyor.

What You'll Need

• Drive and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of offshore survey operations (online & offline).
• Be organised and detail oriented, with solid documentation skills.
• Be comfortable making decisions and liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• Keen interest in developing project management capabilities.

Competency And Qualifications

• University degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Hydrography, or equivalent industry experience.
• Extensive offshore survey field experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior Online Surveyor (or similar role).
• Experience with MBES and SBP data processing (preferred).
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English (spoken & written).
• Familiarity with survey documentation, client deliverables, and project planning tools.
