QHSE & IMS Manager

ALES ASIA was founded in Taiwan in 2006. Our factory is located in the Taichung Science Park in Taiwan and it has class 1000 and 100 cleanroom (192 m2) and ISO 9001 certificates.

We provide a proven, reliable and cost effective solution to worldwide special gas delivery equipment needs, including gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes. Beside, we also have capabilities of customizing manifold and controller PLC ; HMI design, and calculation service to ensure customer need is met. ALES ASIA's customers are located all over the world, and our product are widely used in various industry such as semiconductor foundries, LCD, LED, Solar, lab, institute and other applications. We strives for continuous improvement in terms of product quality, production capacity and services. We will always be flexible, innovative, agility and adaptive to meet and exceed customer needs.

This position holds comprehensive responsibility for planning, developing, implementing and continuously improving the company's Industrial Management System (IMS) and Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with Group IMS Procedures (IMS_GPs) and ISO 9001 standards.

Main Accountabilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Industrial Management System (IMS), ensuring its compliance with corporate procedures and policies.Ensure the consistency, compliance, and effective control of all system documentation.
• Plan and execute regular internal and external quality audits to ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer requirements.Monitor system compliance and alert senior management to any potential non-conformities, process deviations, or risks in a timely manner.
• Coordinate the resolution of quality issues arising during the production process, implementing root cause analysis, and effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Conduct quality performance evaluations and qualification assessments on key suppliers with identified technical risks as necessary. Establish a supplier coaching and development timeline to ensure their quality level aligns with company expectations.
• Liaise closely with management and staff across all departments to ensure the seamless integration of quality principles and IMS requirements into core business operations.
• Establish and implement internal training programs related to the IMS and Quality to ensure employees fully understand system requirements and to enhance company-wide IMS/ Quality awareness and competency.
• The Process Owner for Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) within the Subsidiary. In this capacity, they are responsible for: Defining and implementing the Subsidiary's Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Management process (IMS_GP05). Monitoring and continually improving this process. Ensuring compliance with all Group requirements.
• Ensure company operations comply with all relevant local industrial regulations. Proactively review and introduce necessary new regulations to maintain the competitiveness and sustainability of the company's operations. Regularly validate company activities against changes in local and international regulations affecting AL business and operations, making appropriate adjustments.

Are you a MATCH?

• Bachelor Degree, related department is better.
• English / Have a high level of competency and accuracy in writing and maintaining clear and professional documentation relating to integrated management systems
• Quality or HSE domains.
• Process risk, industrial audit, system management, and/or industrial operations management.
• Thorough knowledge of the different types of hazards at the workplace and of the hierarchy of controls.
• Mastering practices, methods, equipment and tools (notably Job Hazard Analysis, Safe Work Permit and Root Cause Analysis) to reduce the exposure to hazards arising from work tasks, workplaces, materials and conditions.
• Good knowledge of HSE regulations, codes and standards applicable in the Subsidiary; understanding of other applicable laws and regulations.
• Good knowledge of the Subsidiary organization, industrial operations and related risks.
• Good knowledge of Process Risk and Road Safety management fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of Human and Organizational Safety Factors.
• Good knowledge of the Group and Subsidiary industrial management system.
