Product Operations Principal Engineer

Dell Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Product Operations Principal Engineer to join our Server Product Operations Engineering team in Taipei. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful launch of new products into the global market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts of internal and external mechanical design for manufacturing review with global manufacturing teams in all new product launch activities.
  • Conduct operational feasibility studies for new product and new manufacturing process introduction in the factory environment.
  • Engage management and teams to determine feasibility/potential of projects.
  • Decide which projects to work on; establish leader buy-in as needed; lead project team to deliver results as committed; communicate updates and status to all associated partners.
  • Create factory strategies and plans for Worldwide Operations based on product plans and roadmaps.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of the mechanical development process and an expert in planning and executing associated development activities.
  • Variety of engineering discipline and development/manufacturing process knowledge.
  • Advanced command skills to assist in the implementation and execution of programs and initiatives.
  • Provide leadership for ensuring that product designs and operational processes are optimized.
  • Able to identify, prioritize, and influence absolute requirements into product designs.
