Server Mechanical Design Lead

The role of the Server Mechanical Design Lead involves providing technical leadership in the development and implementation of innovative mechanical design solutions for server products. As a key member of the Mechanical Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality designs that meet customer needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize liquid cooling solutions for server products through collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Host global meetings with stakeholders to manage development schedules and ensure timely delivery of RTS requirements
• Design specifications discussion and definition
• Triage issues and drive root cause analysis
• Participate in initiatives to improve daily efficiency and maximize portfolio benefits
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical or thermal engineering with proficiency in CAE/simulation and empirical testing
- 8+ years of experience as a DLC R&D engineer with expertise in cold plate/tube routing design, CDU, and rack-level cooling facilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluent English
- Data analysis, root cause analysis, and issue triage capabilities
- Deep understanding of DLC manufacturing process and DFM experience
