Display and Optical Metrology Specialist

semiconductor test engineers are crucial in advancing the state-of-art display and optical technologies for augmented reality products

we seek an experienced and driven professional to lead the development, qualification, and implementation of optical metrology equipment for characterizing display and subsystems in ar products

key responsibilities include:
designing, developing, and executing test programs for semiconductor devices using various test equipment and software tools
collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch
collecting and performing statistical analysis on metrology data to correlate to performance metrics
developing and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports
leading full cycle of tester development against engineering requirement specifications

additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
taking complete ownership of transferring metrology technologies from r&d to mass production
establishing and performing tester alignment and calibration procedures
working closely with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and debug test issues
participating in the development of new test methodologies and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness
staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in semiconductor testing

• bs degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline with 5+ years of experience or advanced degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline with 3+ years of experience
• hands-on experience in ate test program development from concept to implementation
• demonstrable understanding of digital logic, microprocessors, and semiconductor devices
• proficiency in statistical data analysis using minitab or jmp
• professional level proficiency in english
• exemplary communication and presentation skills
• problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• strong skills in programming in python or equivalent language
