Senior Semiconductor Trainer

The Senior Technical Trainer role at our Global Training Center is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of experts who are shaping the future of innovation.

• Presents technical training in house on semiconductor equipment, focusing on specialized / customized courses.
• Manages classroom/lab activities to assure fulfillment of course objectives; presents and practices safely per procedure.
• Maintains product technical knowledge sufficient to prepare and present defined product courses.
• Completes certification on multiple platforms and/or process modules to include safety modules; actively certifies others; establishes new certification requirements.
• Utilizes technical publications and business unit to assist course developers in maximizing technical training documentation efficiencies; creates and augments documentation to fill gaps in released materials; evaluates students/colleagues with less experienced performance.
• Provides technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to assist with system repairs; ensures system functionality can support course objectives; ensures all safety retrofits are installed on the training systems.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the Global Training Center organization and its operations. Informs customers of additional Global Training Center courses/products that are available.
• Provide feedback to determine future training opportunities and assist in presenting total training solutions for customer needs.
• Provides coaching and leadership to other instructors; serves as mentor to less senior instructors for class delivery, technical development and certification; anticipates, prevents and resolves customer satisfaction issues as it pertains to training activities.
• Supports course developers in the generation of training materials for new and revised courses.
• Revises day-to-day curriculum plans as needed to support new technology from system upgrades and/or procedures.
• Updates Global Training Center training tracking system and Learning Management System.
• Communicates with BUs to obtain current product information for courses updates; represents Global Training Center at divisional meetings.

• Technical degree or bachelor's in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficiency in reading and troubleshooting schematics.
• Ability to safely follow, validate and redline operation and maintenance procedures.
• Strong workmanship and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
