Senior Engineering Manager - Graphics Team

This critical role exists within the graphics engineering team and is responsible for leading the development, sustaining, and technical expertise of all integrated and add-in graphics cards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promotes collaboration between internal platform and graphics development engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of onboard and add-in graphics program objectives.
  • Leverages technology partners and external suppliers including AMD, nVidia, Intel, and ODM partners to manage hardware, software, and firmware issues with workstation-class integrated and add-in graphics controller cards.
  • Collaborates with multiple internal teams including product quality, platform engineering, product marketing, program management, regulatory engineering, and other teams to identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Supports commodity-level internal core teams with issue management and resolution guidance on complex technical matters.
  • Manages resources at external suppliers to facilitate timely debug and resolution of issues and delivery of graphics controllers on market schedules.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in technical project management.
  • Effective supplier and technology partner management capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of the ODM development model.
  • Ability to quickly recognize and triage complex technical issues.
  • Engineering/Computer Science degree, preference for depth of knowledge in electrical or computer engineering. 10+ years industry experience.
