- Experience with SQL for analyzing data collections.
- Experience in software for power and performance improvements.
- Knowledge of Linux kernel, Android system, and embedded software system design.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
In this role, you will work with teams spanning the entire software and hardware stack to define, prototype, optimize and bring to the consumer devices software solutions that deliver battery life and user experiences.
You will focus on power and performance aspects of the software design, data flow analysis, and improving the battery-life experiences of users. You will also be responsible for coordinating efforts with teams across Android platforms, applications and hardware teams to ensure battery life for Pixel devices.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Responsibilities:- Model power consumption and define power goals with cross-functional hardware and software teams.
- Optimize software for key components like the CPU, GPU, Memory Subsystem, and Connectivity.
- Debug and resolve battery drain issues.
- Partner with Android application teams to optimize power.
- Develop tools and tests to validate and monitor power consumption.
