Project Director IT

As a Senior IT Project Manager at Dell Technologies, you will be part of our Software Engineering Team in Taipei.

This is a challenging role requiring leadership skills, problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills. You will lead defined projects or modules, providing direction and guidance to project teams while making recommendations to senior management as necessary.

• You will be responsible for identifying priorities and resources relative to each initiative, project or program; manage the generation on product requirement, feature matrix and offerings and Project management on NPI/Sustain platforms.
• You will work effectively with senior management, utilizing your discretion and judgment on business matters and assuming responsibility to improve service, efficiency and quality of work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading a defined project or module of a project, with impact within a specific component of a project or a subset/work stream of a project.
• Defining, allocating and monitoring appropriate tasks within area of responsibility, while providing direction and guidance to project teams.
• Working on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.
• Identifying priorities and resources relative to each initiative, project or program, and managing the generation on product requirement, feature matrix and offerings and Project management on NPI/Sustain platforms.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in project management in the IT industry.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
• Demonstrated attentiveness to quality and productivity.
• Basic communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management.
