WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?

 

  • This is a great opportunity to play a meaningful role in driving commercial strategy in a multi-national company with your passion for Business Intelligence and Big Data. We’re looking for a team member to develop an internal business-oriented Digital Analytical & Big Data solution that is directly linked to market commercial strategy.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

 

  • Evolve the foundation of market commercial data with Data Warehouse

    • Play a key role in the overall optimization and evolution of the Data Warehouse: Led and coordinated the external experienced system development vendors to ensure on-time and high-quality deliverables with the ever-evolving innovative operation tools and potential new categories. 

  • Connect the dots and generate improved business insights
    • BI solution & supporting Big data analysis: Play a role in developing high-quality dashboards/reports by understanding the objectives to fulfill business needs. Analyze commercial data and consumer trends to prepare insightful business reports by individuals or teams. Initiate big data analysis projects by understanding business needs, defining project scope, and driving insightful results.
  • Amplify the power of a variety of Insights Systems
    • Taking existing insight systems (i.e. GIS) to the next level of application: Identify key business questions and requirements, assess all current systems based on the functions and resources allocation, and proceed with system integration if vital. Responsible for the training and maintenance to unlock the business power of the systems.
  • Teamwork with versatile people and make things happen
    • Cross-function communication and internal collaboration: Play the role of a liaison between local business teams, global teams, and internal/external IT partners. Understand the business objectives, priorities, and marketing strategies and turn them into action plans.

 

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

  • University degree in Information Systems or Business Management related.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in FMCG, the tech industry, or a consultancy firm that works with commercial functions or external clients.
  • Experiences in big data implementation and analysis, and system analysis and development.
  • Fluent speaking & writing in English and Mandarin is a must.
  • Good writing, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Change Management, business question analysis, and engineering, system implementation (testing and training), and reports/dashboard development. 

  • Strong data structure/pipeline/integration skills and BI application/data analytic tool development skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Microsoft Power BI is a plus
