ACTIVATION SPECIALIST
The Activation Specialist must have a passion for brand communication and event planning, as they will play a key role in activating and interacting with key stakeholders, including business partners and cross-functional colleagues. The incumbent supports and partially leads trade marketing activation campaigns from development through execution and evaluation. Strong networking capabilities, creativity, and flexibility are essential for this highly cross-functional role. To achieve results, collaboration with and leadership of external partners, such as agencies, is crucial. Strong project management skills are necessary to ensure timely project delivery with high quality. Additional responsibilities include budget management and general team support.
This position requires a personality with the following traits: willingness to support others, curiosity about new things, a constant search for opportunities and possibilities, and a proactive approach to finding creative solutions.
As the Activation Specialist you will:
- Program Development & Management
- Support the Supervisor in developing tailored activation programs and events that align with business objectives. Continuously strive to think of new and innovative ways to work and engage in activations.
- Agency Management
- Lead external partners, such as agencies, to develop necessary materials and inspire them to provide creative solutions that enhance communication quality and build brand affinity. Ensure on-time delivery within budget.
- Cross-Function Coordination
- Collaborate closely and smoothly with the RMC and RRP teams to ensure program design aligns with company strategy. Ensure the approach and messaging design support the Field Force in creating efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with CA and Legal to minimize risk and protect JTI.
- Evaluation & Upgrade
- Ensure a dedicated review approach is applied to programs, evaluating them from both quantitative and qualitative perspectives to facilitate enhancements for future deployments.
- General Management
- Handle department administration tasks such as documentation, supporting budget management, and other internal initiatives. Keep the line manager updated on the status. Be curious and willing to ask questions and seek help to elevate your own work.
Requirements:
- University degree holder
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in either trade marketing, brand marketing, digital marketing.
- Has good background in brand communication and supporting brand/trade events, launch events or internal events.
- Cross-function communication experience
- Familiar to lead external advertising agencies.
- Fluency in English is a must. Familiar with MS applications - very good in writing & giving presentations.
