By joining us now, you'll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics-working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.This Position reports to:Segment Strategy Manager - Electronics Core Responsibilities Defines the go-to-market model and segment strategy and aligns it with the operational/execution path.Contributes to defining of the business strategy and translates it into the offering and solution portfolio strategy.Oversees the footprint, technology transfer, and trading model strategy definition to optimize the time to market, sales enablement, customer service levels, and product profitability.Supports Product Management organization by providing the necessary infrastructure for the optimal execution of core tasks like business and performances tracking, market intelligence, roadmap planning, lifecycle management, etc.Analyzes the content of the portfolio continuously, with a focus on new potential product lines.Approves specific offering business plans, makes global investment choices, and decides on possible partnering approaches and approved pricing models.Proposes and directly involves in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) partnership activities, defining the brand, offering portfolio, and related business strategy.Drives innovation in the team with a strong customer orientation, exploring opportunities along the full customer/user journey and considering all touch points.Drives organizational maturity based on the ABB's global product management framework of processes and practices. License to Operate / Core Values Ensures all staff (under scope) understand ABB's core values and group safety and integrity standards and act accordingly.Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.Ensures adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams in scope.Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance. Collaboration / Leadership Cooperates with the Business Development team to identify organic and inorganic growth opportunities.Creates and manages the Product Management organizations in line with ABB's product management framework.Drives excellence in Product Management teams by promoting continuous development of people and processes.Ensures that their own area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, trained, competent, and directed.Guides, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.Initiates and drives staff development and job rotation programs for the global product management community to develop competence and global awareness.Establishes and maintains succession planning for key positions within the Product Management organization(s).We value people from different backgrounds.
