What you'll do:
  • Design and develop robust Windows device drivers for advanced technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Windows Server platforms.
  • Independently architect, code, troubleshoot, and debug complex software components to deliver reliable and high-performing drivers.
  • Collaborate closely with peers in Quality Assurance and Program Management to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and product releases.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship across the R&D team, fostering an environment of shared learning and support.
  • Utilise performance measurement tools to analyse, optimise, and enhance driver efficiency under various workloads.
  • Engage in cross-functional discussions to align software development efforts with hardware integration requirements.
  • Document design decisions, implementation details, and troubleshooting procedures clearly for internal reference and future maintenance.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain high standards of software quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in Windows OS architecture, storage technologies, and best practices relevant to device driver development.
What you bring:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field provides you with the foundational knowledge required for this role.
  • At least five years of experience developing software using C/C , demonstrating your ability to tackle complex programming challenges effectively.
  • Proven track record of independently designing and implementing Windows device drivers; familiarity with Storport is considered an advantage.
  • Deep understanding of Windows operating system architecture enables you to navigate intricate system-level interactions confidently.
  • Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills on the Windows platform allow you to resolve issues efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience utilising performance measurement tools ensures that your code meets demanding efficiency standards.
  • Excellent communication skills help you collaborate smoothly within multidisciplinary teams while articulating technical concepts clearly.
  • A quick learning mindset empowers you to adapt rapidly as new technologies emerge within the fast-evolving storage landscape.
  • Familiarity with NVMe or NVMe-oF technology is highly desirable as it enhances your ability to contribute meaningfully from day one.
  • Knowledge of Nvidia CUDA programming would be beneficial for certain aspects of hardware-software integration.
