About The Team
The Market Operations team is responsible for driving the successful launch, growth, and ongoing performance of World's operations in markets around the world. Our work sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring that World's unique model of verifying humanness through a global network of Orb Operators is implemented effectively, sustainably, and at scale. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and optimize operational processes, manage local partnerships, and deliver exceptional user and Operator experiences. Because every market has its own cultural, regulatory, and logistical nuances, the Market Operations team must combine analytical rigor with adaptability and deep local insight. We are known for our operational excellence, on-the-ground problem solving, and relentless focus on execution and impact.
About The Role
Since the recent launch of World in Taiwan in May 2025, we have grown with our partners from 3 locations to almost 50 across all top cities in Taiwan. For our next phase, we are looking for a highly talented and motivated Growth Lead to turbocharge the sustainable growth of verified World ID users in Taiwan, one of our most strategic markets, and expand relationships with our Operators and across the ecosystem.
This is both a strategic and operational leadership role, which given the nascent nature of our company, requires first-principles thinking as well as constant, dynamic iteration.

In this role, you will design and execute a roadmap to dramatically accelerate and sustain user growth, improve the performance and retail experience of locations, drive successful collaborations with external partners, and help make World trusted and engaging.
Within the Market Operations team, you will collaborate with peers as well as the Product, Legal, Marketing, and Communications teams to elevate the brand, streamline operations, drive impactful operational and utility partnerships, and serve as the local connector between the global vision and local opportunities.
This is an IC role.
Key Responsibilities
- Set overall market growth strategy, providing a direction to turbocharge the growth of verified World IDs in the near future, backed by strong structure and robust analytics.
- Design, drive, and measure full-funnel user activation initiatives, including but not limited to digital marketing, offline events, and user-facing incentives, and manage related budgets.
- Work with Operator teams to grow the day-to-day performance and improve the retail experience of different locations across Taiwan.
- Build successful collaborations with external enterprise, retail, and technology partners, creating utility and distribution for World ID, and user and business growth for all parties.
- Help set the tone for our user-facing narrative, making World trusted and engaging.
- Oversee all experimental and longer-term growth initiatives in Taiwan.
- Ensure that all activities meet the highest standards of compliance, trust, and brand reputation.
About You
- You have 7+ years of relevant experience in strategy, operations, growth, retail, or business development. You have succeeded in high-performance roles related to user growth, market expansion, retail operations, and / or growth marketing, ideally in Taiwan, Singapore, and Asia.
- You have a strong grasp of both qualitative sentiment and quantitative analysis. You can speak to users, marketers, economists, and data scientists alike.
- You have intuition about online user experience and offline retail experience, and can connect the two to increase user demand, as our project is uniquely both offline to online and online to offline.
- You're scrappy, innovative, and motivated. You enjoy working as part of a fast-moving, dynamic team and are willing to contribute wherever needed to make an impact.
- You have strong cross-cultural and interpersonal skills. You have experience and are able to communicate and do business across different cultures and in English.
- You understand what World and Tools For Humanity is about, and appreciate that this is not a typical company or mission.
- You are fluent and can read and write in both English and Mandarin (Traditional Chinese).
- You're based in Taiwan, and are ready to travel within Taiwan, and regionally as needed.
